Gulab Jamun

Gulab jamun recipe


Ingredients

Dry Milk powder (1 cup)

Refined Wheat flour(1/2 cup)

Baking powder (1 tsp)

Cardamom (1/2 tsp)

Ghee (3 tbsp)

Milk(1/4 cup)

Water (2 cups)

Sugar(1 cup)

Crushed cardamom(4-5)


Procedure

For sugar syrup:

In a pan add water and sugar and mix it well.

Now add crushed cardamom to it.

On medium-low flame cook it for about 30 minutes.

For gulab jamun mixture:

Take a bowl and add refined wheat flour and dry milk powder to it 

Now add cardamom and baking powder

Mix the mixture well

Now add ghee and milk to it.

Mix it until fully crumbled.

Cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.

Now make 10-12 small balls and fry them in oil until it turns golden brown. 

Now take it out after it turns golden brown and put it in sugar syrup.

Take them out of the sugar syrup after 45- minutes.

Sprinkle pistachio ad coconut for garnishing.

Gulab jamun are ready now


Ras malai

Ras malai recipe


Ingredients:

Milk(1 liter)

Sugar (1/2 cup)

Cardamom(4-5)

Dry milk powder(1 cup)

Wheat flour(1 tbsp)

Baking powder (1 tsp)

Crushed cardamom(1 tsp)

Ghee(1 tbsp)

Egg beat (3 tbsp)


Procedure:

In a bowl take dry milk powder and wheat flour.

Add baking powder and crushed cardamom to it and mix it well

Now add ghee to it 

Knead the dough well and gradually add beaten egg to it.

Cover the dough with plastic wrap for about 10 minutes.

Now make 7-8 small balls from it.

Now in a pan add milk, sugar, and cardamom.

Cook It  on medium-low flame for about 30 minutes,

Now add small balls to it.

cover the pan and let it cook for 10 minutes.

Let it cool.

Rasmalai is ready.
