Chicken Lasagna - Chicken Lasagna recipe
Hey there. So, are you craving Lasagna and don’t know what to do? Don't worry I will tell you the recipe for the most delicious and easy chicken lasagna recipe which will hardly take 1 and ½ hours to prepare.
So, without wasting our time let's get straight into it.
Ingredients
Chicken mince mixture:
- Oil (2 tbsp)
- Chopped onion (5 tbsp)
- Chopped garlic (1 tbsp)
- Minced chicken (1/2 kg)
- Chopped tomato (5 tbsp)
- Tomato ketchup (1/2 cup)
- Salt (1 tsp)
- Crushed red chili (1 tsp)
- Crushed black pepper (1 tsp)
- Dried oregano (1 tsp)
- Tomato paste (2 tbsp)
- Water (1/2 cup)
- Chopped Capsicum (1 cup)
White sauce:
- Butter (2 tbsp)
- All-purpose flour (2 tbsp)
- Milk (2 and ½ cups)
- Salt (to taste)
- White pepper powder (1 tsp)
For assembling:
- Boiled lasagna sheets (12)
- Chicken mince mixture
- White sauce
- Cheddar cheese (1 cup)
- Mozzarella cheese (1 cup)
- Dried oregano
Procedure
Chicken mince mixture:
- Add oil, chopped onion, and chopped garlic to a pan and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes on medium-low flame.
- Now add minced chicken to the pan and again cook until the chicken changes its color.
- Add chopped tomatoes and tomato ketchup to the pan.
- Add water, dried oregano, crushed black pepper, crushed red chili pepper, salt, and tomato paste. Mix well and cook well for about 3 minutes.
- Add capsicum and again cook for 1 minute.
White sauce:
- Add butter to a pan and let it melt.
- Now add all-purpose flour and mix well.
- In the pan, add milk gradually and keep stirring.
- Add white pepper powder, and salt and cook until thick sauce forms.
For assembling:
- Take a baking dish and grease it with oil or butter, spread white sauce on it.
- Place lasagna sheets on it also add chicken mince mixture to it.
- Pour white sauce again, and sprinkle cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the above 3 steps.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and oregano.
- Bake at 180 C for about 20-25 minutes.
