So, Do you know how to make glazed donuts at home? If not then you not do need to worry about it.

I will provide you the easiest donut recipe in town. It will be ready in about 1.5 hours.

Ingredients

For the Dough

·         All Purpose flour (4 cups)

·         Powdered sugar(1/4 cup)

·         Milk(1 and 1/8 cup)

·         Egg yolks (2)

·         Dry yeast(1 packet or 2.25 tsp)

·         Oil (for frying)

·         Salt (as required)

 

 

 

Glaze for Donuts

·         Melted butter(1/2 cup)

·         Vanilla extracts( teaspoon)

·         Powdered sugar(3 tbsp)

·         Dash of salt

·         Cocoa powder(3 tbsp) Optional!

·         Cream (1 packet)

 

Method

To make the dough:

·         Scald milk and set aside to cool

·         Whisk 1 cup of flour,1 /4 cup of sugar,1 packet of yeast, and salt in a bowl. Add scalded milk, oil, and egg yolks, and then whisk them. Cover and rest for 10-15 minutes.

·         Stir on the remaining floor then knead by hand for 5 minutes in the bowl. The dough should be soft.

·         Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes

·         Roll dough with a rolling pin until it is 1/2 to 1/3 of an inch thick and cut out 11-12 donuts.

·         Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for 25 minutes

·         Heat oil to 375 degrees F. Carefully add the donuts to the hot oil and fry until golden brown for about ½ minute per side

 

For the Glaze:

·         Melt the butter in the bowl .and vanilla extract and stir gently.

·         Add powdered sugar and stir to combine and form a paste. Add cream and stir until the mixture is thick.

·         Add 2-3 tbsp cocoa powder to make the chocolate glaze.

·         Dip the donuts into the gaze and as soon as they came out of the batter

·         Add sprinkles for garnishing.
